Lacan’s Foundational Texts of Reference for the Foundation of the School

The School of Psychoanalysis of the Forums of the Lacanian Field (SPFLF) is founded on seven texts written by Lacan in relation to the psychoanalytic institution and to the establishment and dissolution of his École Freudienne de Paris (Freudian School of Paris, FSP):

  1. The Acte de Foundation of June 1964;

  2. The Proposition du 9 October 1967 sur le Psychanalyste de l’École’;

  3. The Discours à l’EFP du 6 Décembre 1967;

  4. The Note Italienne of 1973;

  5. The ‘Préface à l’Édition Anglaise du Séminaire XI of 1977;

  6. The Lettre de Dissolution de l’EFP of January 1980;

  7. The Lettre de la Cause Freudienne of October 1980.
